Class of 2024: Ready to Make a Mark on the World

We were equally proud to celebrate the eighth graders and their parents at our recent graduate dinner – a 13-year tradition. English teacher Mr. Bell kicked off the program with a final community meeting address about how much eighth graders have learned to be courageous in the face of challenge and how valuable that will be as they embrace new adventures.
Two teachers also shared poignant, funny, and heartwarming stories about the unique ways each graduating student added to the school community. As they exited the dinner, eighth graders were joined by past graduates who officially welcomed the class of 2024 to Harlem Academy’s alumni community. Click to see favorite moments from the evening.
As the newest graduates begin their journeys at top secondary schools, we know they will continue to strive for excellence, meet every challenge with confidence, and one day make a mark on the world.
